چکیده

Survival analyses of COVID-19 data has its own unique features, in particular, the existence two distinct events: death and release from hospital within a very short period time. This multiple-event situation belongs to type where occurrence first event prevents second happen, vice versa. We carried out cause-specific univariate Cox regression survival analyses, one for time-to-death another time-to-release. Each analysis is further split into onset symptom time hospitalization have also case-control (death vs. release) without considering information. observed that risk factors can be detected by either or analysis, even though goal quite different. may not both reveal factor being factor, but only them does. prefer this rounds regressions over mixture cure model which focused on events usually are sample size limited. By utilizing time-to-release greatly increase needed revealing COVID-19. Doi: 10.28991/SciMedJ-2021-03-SI-1 Full Text: PDF
